Our Mission

The Brittany Roche Foundation was established in 2016 to continue NF awareness and to raise funds at various events throughout the year.  Funds raised will be donated for NF research in hopes of finding better treatments and a cure.  The Foundation will also support the Dana Farber Jimmy Fund Clinic,  Make-A-Wish Foundation, Special Olympics and NF camp, all of which enriched Brittany's life tremendously.  Brittany Roche was an extremely generous individual despite her own serious issues.  She thought of others first and always had a contagious smile on her face as well as kind words from her heart.  Our goal is to pay tribute to her giving spirit and continue to help others in her name so that her memory can live on forever.  She taught us a tremendous amount in her 25 years, most importantly to always think of others, and to never give up on something you believe in.

You really can change the world if you care enough.

Neurofibromatosis is currently an incurable disorder which can cause tumors to occur anywhere in or on the body at any time, some of which can become malignant.  Complications can vary from one individual to the next.  1 in 2500 - 3000 people live with NF.  More individuals are diagnosed with NF than Cystic Fibrosis and Muscular Dystrophy combined, yet it is still unknown to many and can be fatal.
